Auxillary Thermostatic Fan Switch Installation Guide for Jaguar XJ-S V12 and XJ12 HE 5.3 and 6.0
(revised July 18, 2011)

Incorrect installation may be hazardous to your health!

Don't attempt this if you are a ham-fisted oaf - Jaguar's V12 engine is aluminum alloy and threads can be easily damaged.

  • disconnect battery
  • pull connectors from thermostatic fan switch on pump housing
  • unscrew thermostatic fan switch
  • quickly screw in new thermostatic fan switch
  • tighten 6-8 lb.ft. (be gentle!)
  • reconnect wires
  • top up coolant
  • connect battery
  • you are done!
