FYI - Why relocate your oil filter?

Nestled between your Jaguar exhaust pipes, which run at 350⁰F (176⁰C) and your engine sump, your oil filter simmers at a constant minimum of 210⁰F (99⁰C) - on a hot day it goes even higher.

No wonder your poor v12 needs an oil cooler!

Oil temperature should be kept at around 176⁰F (80⁰C).

Relocating the oil filter to a cooler location will help keep your engine oil, and engine, at a more reasonable temperature - every bit helps, right?

This can also make it easier to do filter changes.

This is a simple upgrade.
